Choose from square or half-round posts for the strong aluminium frame, with a steel reinforced round or classic Victorian gutter system to drain rainwater away from your veranda.

Decide on the appearance of the veranda by choosing from colours including RAL 9005 Jet Black, RAl 9016 Traffic White, RAL 7024 Graphite Grey and RAL 9001 Cream for an exquisite, stylish aesthetic that complements the decor of your property.

Our glass verandas are fitted with laminated clear safety glass so you can appreciate the views whilst standing or sitting under the veranda, whether it’s clouds passing in the blue sky, birds chirping in the trees or the twinkling stars in the night sky. The clear glass roof offers plenty of opportunity for sunlight to enter the sheltered area, providing plenty of natural light to the space. Alternatively, you can opt for a tinted glass roof for your veranda to reduce the amount of heat that enters the space.

Compared to our polycarbonate roof verandas, glass roof verandas are much stronger and provide better acoustics, making it much quieter during rainfall.

Flat Roof Verandas

One of the styles growing in popularity is the Flat Glass Roof Veranda (sometimes referred to as a flat glass roof pergola).

Rather than the roof being on an angle like many of the other glass verandas we fit, these models feature a reinforced flat glass roof.

As the flat roof requires less space, it’s perfect for bungalows, cottages and other properties that have a low-pitched roof that may not be able to accommodate the other models. Of course, you may just prefer the cubistic style, like many of our customers do!

The veranda can be fitted with integrated LED lighting in the gutter to provide gentle lighting for your outdoor space.

Optional Extra For Your Glass Veranda

LED Lighting

With our verandas, you can have the option of integrated 18-watt capacity LED lighting. This ambient lighting can provide illumination when sitting under your veranda, whether you’re entertaining guests, enjoying a meal or simply relaxing.

A remote control is supplied so you can adjust the dimmable LED spotlights.

Side Gable

You have the option of having a side gable fitted to your glass veranda which can provide cover for the sloped part of the veranda, where the roof meets the side wall. The side gable can be made from matching laminated safety glass or from polycarbonate sheet, whilst the aluminium frame is available in colours to match the veranda.

Side Walls

Our side walls are a permanent fixture that can be added to one or both ends of the veranda for enhanced protection from the wind and rain for a more comfortable space. With the option of polycarbonate or fixed glass side walls, you can get more out of your semi-enclosed veranda space with this addition.

Sliding Glass Doors

The ultimate in luxury are our optional sliding glass doors for your veranda. Transform your glass veranda into a glass room that you can relax and unwind in whatever the weather, throughout the seasons. A true outdoor living solution, glass sliding doors provide unbeatable views of your garden whilst providing protection from the wind, rain and snow. Freestanding Glass Veranda or Wall-Attached? You Decide!

Our glass verandas can be fitted against the property wall, whether down the side of your property or at the rear. If you have patio doors, French doors or bifold doors, a glass veranda would make a terrific shelter to connect the interior of the home to the outdoors.

However, our verandas don’t need to be attached to a wall. We can erect detached glass verandas, freestanding away from the property wall, if you prefer.

Dine in style! If you run a B&B, hotel, pub or restaurant, and want to offer your customers a luxurious dining experience, then our glass verandas can deliver an alternative to dining alfresco. Frequently Asked Questions About Verandas

Do Glass Verandas Require Planning Permission?

Most of the time, glass verandas do not require planning permission to be erected. In certain circumstances planning permission would likely be needed, such as if the veranda is being installed for a listed building, attached to the roof space or is larger than half the ground space of your land, though there are other boundary, location and dimension conditions too.

Most veranda installations do not require planning permission, however we always recommend you check with the council first.

How Much Do Glass Verandas Cost?

The cost of our glass verandas depends on the size you’d like and whether or not you’d like optional extras, such as sliding glass doors to turn it into an enclosed ‘room’. The larger the veranda, the higher the cost due to more glass needed for both the roof and the sliding panels, as well as the time it takes to fit these parts. We had our veranda installed in March 2026, and from start to finish the whole process was brilliant. They arrived exactly when they said they would, were professional and friendly, and had our veranda up in just over a day!

We’ve now had our first summer enjoying it, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best things I’ve ever bought for our back garden. We use it all the time and absolutely love having the extra space to enjoy, whatever the weather.
